Donate

New regulations as of Jan 1, 2012 have raised the maximum individual yearly donation to $1200. You may also make one other $1200 donation to a candidate, riding association, or nomination contestant. You may pay someone else's membership fee, but you cannot donate on someone else's behalf. No corporate contributions are allowed.

If you pay taxes, you are eligible to receive Political Contributions Tax Rebates from Revenue Canada, minus the membership payment. Rebates are as follows:

• 75% on the first $400
• 50% on the next $350
• 33⅓% on the rest
